Spring galas, spring break, spring weather and spring fashion are approaching rapidly, and with so much going on in the city I put together a look from one of my favorite designers, Altuazurra. My obsession with Altuazurra grows deeper and deeper each and every day! This Flarley fluted metallic devote-georgette dress is perfect for those more formal spring events. This dress is from the Altuazzura Fall ’15 runway collection, and has the perfect flare of ’70s with a velvet and gold detailing. I paired this dress with these amazing Giambattista Valli Sandals , which are not only beautiful but comfortable thanks to the double padded insoles. These heels really transform the outfit and add a layer of detailing to complete the outfit. I kept the accessories to a minimum and for my bag I wore this Alexander McQueen clutch. This Gray Ayers Snakeskin Knuckle Duster clutch adds the perfect finishing touches to the look!
For your next big event, play with the textures of a dress or try out a two-piece set. I love pushing the limits on elegant and edgy! Why not have fun while playing dress up? When in doubt, go vintage when purchasing major staple pieces.
Thank you to Nellcote for the beautiful backdrop and elegant decor! If you have not been to Nellcote yet, go for a date night or girls dinner. It is breathtaking! After spending my Oscar’s weekend there I was eager to get back and taste their entire menu – yum!
